What is the difference between Detailing & Valeting?
Detailing is far superior to valeting as a lot more time, care and attention is applied to a vehicle. A detailer takes a vehicle to its highest level of presentation using the very best products, the right tools & proven techniques. Do not confuse the services offered by us with any of your expections or experiences of valeting you may have experienced in the past.
Do you need any electricity or water when you arrive to detail my car?
We carry our own water on board but we do need access to electricity.
Why are your prices so expensive?
Our prices are based around our standard hourly rate of £30, this in itself is not expensive; most main car dealerships charge £75+ VAT per hour for labour on repairs and servicing, and their work is no more skilled than our own. The high quality of our work frequently adds considerable value to the vehicles we work on, meaning that such work largely pays for itself.
What hours do you work?
We work seven day's a week. 8:00 am till-late in the evening. In the summer months we do work longer hours due to the lighter evenings.
What is paintwork correction?
Paintwork correction is the removal of common paint problems, such as scratches, swirl marks, oxidation, buffer trails, cob-webbing and 3D hologram effects. This is done by using a selection of compounds and polishes to refine & correct the above mentioned imperfections in paintwork so that the paintwork reflects light perfectly at all angles.
How long will a Detail take?
As a guide, an exterior protection detail on a small to medium vehicle would take approximate 6 hours. A protection detail on a large vehicle with paint correction will take at least 16-24 hours, possibly more.
Are you insured?
We are fully insured for both public liability and accidental damage caused to your vehicle whilst working on it.
How far will you travel?
We are based in Melksham , Wilts and are willing to travel anywhere in the UK to meet our customer's requirements. However all prices are based within 60 miles of the SN12 postcode (using Google Maps). Mileage outside this will be charged at .35 pence per mile. We can also recommend a quality detailer in your area if needed.
How can I pay?
We accept cash or cheque with a guarantee card. We also require a deposit of £50 to secure a booking payable by cheque or PayPal
Can I buy car care products from you?
Yes, we have a hand picked selection of products that we have made available to buy if you wish from our online shop. All products in the store are only items which we use and come highly recommended.
